Firefighter Arnaldo was born and raised in North Monterey County. He began his fire service career with Cal Fire from 2014-2016 in BEU Battalion 1 serving on a type 3 engine, air attack, and as a dozer tender. He was then hired by the North County Fire Protection District assisted with their reserve program and was a member of the county USAR Team. In 2020 he lateraled to the Salinas Fire Department and has been involved with the Department Honor Guard and the Recruitment Task Force. Firefighter Arnaldo is passionate about health and fitness and in his downtime, you can find him kayak fishing or out on a hike with his dog.
